Terms of Service

Under the domain www.billingblocks.app operates Billing Blocks, LLC, a web-based service for the user (hereinafter referred to as "customer"), providing time tracking and invoicing tools for freelancers and small businesses. The purpose of Billing Blocks services is to provide the technical platform for time tracking, invoice generation, and payment processing to the customer, and the ability to access and use these services by means of the web-based application. All services of Billing Blocks, LLC will be collectively referred to as "Billing Blocks" hereinafter. By using Billing Blocks, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time.

§ 1 - Registration

1. To use Billing Blocks, previous registration of the customer is required. By registering, the present Terms of Service of the provider are agreed unconditionally. The customer assures that all information provided are true and complete.
2. To register, a valid e-mail address and password are required.
3. To access premium features, a customer must have registered with the provider, be in good standing with the provider, and provide necessary funds to the provider through our payment processor.

§ 2 - Free Tier

1. Billing Blocks offers a free tier for individual freelancers with basic features including time tracking and invoice generation for a limited number of clients.
2. Some limitations exist on the free tier. For example, users may be limited in the number of invoices they can generate per month, clients they can manage, and access to advanced analytics features.
3. Users will have full access to all features once they upgrade to a paid plan.

§ 3 - Billing

1. All premium subscriptions will be billed automatically every month to the payment method associated with a customer account. A customer may cancel their subscription at any time, and may retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.
2. Billing Blocks uses industry-standard payment processors for secure payment processing. Your payment information is transmitted directly to these processors and Billing Blocks only stores minimal information necessary for account management.

§ 4 - Prices and Payment Conditions

1. All prices are retail prices and are in USD and contain the legal sales tax as applicable. For services, the listed prices at the time of order placement are valid.
2. Subscription changes will apply proration discounts when appropriate such as upgrading in the middle of a billing cycle.

§ 5 - Cancellation Right for Customer

1. A customer has the right to cancel their subscription at any time. If a subscription is cancelled, billing will cease at the end of the billing cycle. An account in a cancelled state may be renewed before data deletion, which will then continue the billing until it is cancelled again.

§ 6 - Data Ownership

1. All data entered into Billing Blocks remains the property of the customer. This includes time entries, client information, invoice data, and any other business information.
2. Customers can export their data at any time in standard formats including CSV and PDF.
3. Upon account cancellation, data will be retained for 30 days to allow for data recovery before permanent deletion.

§ 7 - Warranty

1. This service is provided "as is" without any warranty. The service is provided on a "best effort" basis and no guarantees are made by the provider as to the continuous availability of the service.
2. The provider undergoes regular maintenance for the reliability of its services. For this purpose, the provider may temporarily disable, limit, or degrade the service. This maintenance will be carried out during off-peak hours whenever possible.

§ 8 - Liability

1. Data communication via the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be available at all times without error at the current state of technology. Billing Blocks, LLC is not liable for the continuous or uninterrupted availability of the services.
2. Billing Blocks is not responsible for any financial losses due to incorrect data entry, calculation errors made by the user, or misuse of the platform.

§ 9 - Privacy Policy

1. By registering with Billing Blocks and using the service, the customer is indicating that they have read, understood, and consented to the provider's Privacy Policy and this Terms of Service.
